The site is located immediately to the north-east of the A6, about 2.5km south-east of the centre of Loughborough and 1.5km north-west of Quorn, and is accessed off One Ash Roundabout. The A6 joins the A46 at Leicester about 5km to the south, providing access to the national highway network.

The Grand Union Canal is located about 170m north of the site at its closest, which links into the River Soar around 600m east of the site.
